The Arsta railway Bridge is the new double-track Arsta railway bridge

The new bridge, will span Stockholm’s Arstaviken bay, with a length of 833 meters / 2732 feet. The bridge will include service roads on each side of the tracks with pedestrian and bicycle paths.

Aim of monitoring:

The aims are: The comparison of the monitoring results whis theoretical hypotheses Controll of the bridge behaviour during construction, testing period and life span. Verify the uncertainties of bridge design, increase know-how for future projects integrating monitoring in bridge design
