Thanks to the measurements obtained with the SOFO system, it will be possible to follow the behavior of the structure when boats dock at Colombo pier.

The Colombo pier in Genoa harbors the docking of large ships. The main structural deck consists of five U-shaped pre-fabricated beams.

Aim of monitoring:

Thanks to the measurements obtained with the SOFO system from Smartec, it’ll be possible to follow the behaviour of the structure when boats dock at the pier.
